Assignment #1
For your first post, I would like you to find a picture of your novel and include the author's name. Next, please find a poem or song that you can somehow connect to your novel. It might be based on a character, the plot, a conflict, a setting or any other element. You need to either include a link to the poem or song lyrics or include the song or poem. Now explain to the reader why you selected the song/poem. How does it fit into your novel?
Remember to carefully consider your voice when writing your post and to ensure that the connections between the song/poem and the novel are detailed and apparent. You may even want to include quotes to support your ideas.
You may look at the post I made for The Passage as an example of what I would like to see. Although you can always do better!!
